Kali's Compulsions

I have been teasing Kali for days that I was going to create a post about Kali's idiosyncrasies.  She actually shared a few of these with me.  So today when she went to the movie with Courtney I decided to make good on my word.  So the following pictures are all about Kali.  She is the only one in the family that can take the constant teasing and torment and it is because she knows that all of us love her the most!  After all she is the baby of the family.
Kali has a severe food compulsion. She is the pickiest eater I personally know.  Here are a few of her favorite foods.  She loves Spaghettios and Ramen Noodles.  Probably her very favorite however is velveeta cheese melted with a Costco pretzel.   So when dinner is ready and she turns down what we are eating she relies on her old standby's and eats one of these.  Up until a week ago she loved chicken nuggets also but after a nasty Wendy's chicken nugget experience if you even say chicken nugget she gets real mad at you.  So just to tease her (again) and give her a hard time -"Kali - CHICKEN NUGGET!!"
When she packs her lunch for school is has to be very specific.  Here is Kali's school lunch compulsion.  A bag of chips, a pack of fruit snacks and a sandwich.  Now the sandwich has to be one of the following:  Her favorite is Swiss Cheese only on white bread or JIF (no other brand will do)  peanut butter (creamy, definitely not crunchy) with no jam or honey.  For breakfast it is only one piece of toast and if your real lucky you can talk her into 1/2 an apple.

Kali loves candy.  However, if all of these were laying on the counter along with a Snickers she would overwhelmingly choose the Snickers.  So her candy compulsion is a  Snickers Bar!!  (Yes, Kali named our dog and guess what her name is Snickers!!)
This is Kali's towel.  She just told me this compulsion yesterday and I was laughing so hard I hard to share it because honestly, I have never thought of this before.  After I wash her towel, then the next time she showers she wipes her mascara covered eyes on the top of the towel so she knows which end is top and which is bottom.  Then she is never wiping her face on the bottom of her towel.
When she is tucked in at night she always has two pillows on her bed.  She gets real upset if you try to sneak the fluffy pillow into her place.  She only sleeps on the flat pillow and it has to lay a certain way or it will drive her nuts.  This is great!  It means we never have to buy her a new pillow because the flatter it is the better.  (p.s. No one can sleep on her pillow ever)
One year for Christmas I made her a small lap quilt.  This is the cute material it is made with.  Her crazy compulsion with this quilt is when you cover her with it at night (because she sleeps with it every night)  the blue whales have to be facing up they cannot be turned upside down.  Otherwise she flips out.  So if your ever at our house just remember blue whales up.
This is her dog Snickers.  Snickers sleeps with her every  night.  She sleeps on the fluffy pillow right next to Kali.  Despite the fact that sleeping with Snickers really is hard because she sleeps right next to you so you can't turn over,  Kali insists on sleeping with her every night.  Yes, Snickers loves Kali the most!!

Sunday Evening = Exhausted Bishop

Busy, but not too busy to show his wife how much he loves her.

This is our pride and joy!!  We love our family and we love it when they all come to visit.  We love the late night games, parties and movies.

Since we already established the rule that Girls Rule!! in our house let me just tell you that these two girls dominate at ruling.  Everyone's life revolves around what these two little girls want or need.  The minute they walk into the house everyone drops what they are doing and runs to the door.  The poor things are saturated with way too much love!! Sometimes we are a little overwhelming but nonetheless they know they are loved tons!

Girls Rule!!!  That is the rule in the Stewart house.  Since the girls outnumber the boys 5 to 2 the girls always get what they want and the Stewart boys are always so willing to give in.  Thanks boys!!

This is our family that currently resides in our home.  Most of the time there is peace and harmony and every once in a while there is mass confusion and chaos.  Pear and I are not looking forward to being empty nesters but we think it is going to happen sooner than later.
